They are the largest medical air unit in Idaho, Washington and Oregon. They have 11 other bases in the Pacific & Inland Northwest and has a combined fleet of 11 medical helicopters, 5 fixed winged aircraft and 4 ground ambulances.
This is fantastic news for the Sandpoint area for 2 reasons… first, it will bring 14-15 new jobs to the area and second, it will save lives and have a higher success rate of rescue.
